Bio
Hello! I’m Arielle Wilkins and I’ve been part of Identity’s family for about 10 years. I started dancing here when I was almost three years old. Though I have taken my breaks, just like family, Identity has always been waiting for my return with open arms.
Dance has always been a source of expression for me. I have expressed through the styles of Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, and Lyrical! A style that has always been intriguing to me is Musical Theater. The sense that it can speak through the movements, like many styles, but it can speak any tongue.
A few fun facts about me:
My favorite candy is Snickers, my favorite color is pink, and, my first show at Identity, I completely refused to go onstage. Ironic, considering dance is now truly my favorite thing!
I want to teach here at Identity not only because I want to build strong dancers, but because I want to help build strong, skilled, brave, kind, and confident kids. I want students to come to identity, and leave as a person more comfortable being their own true selves.
