Recreational Classes
Recreational Classes cover a range of styles. Each style has multiple skill levels that should suit most dancers needs. Most (but not all) classes also perform in our 2 annual productions. Check out our Recreational Classes to see which one works for you!!
Performance Groups
Performance Groups are for more experienced dancers, and little ones that want to be in our 2 annual productions. Some of the older groups will require placement tryouts. Others will be on recommendation. In addition to our 2 annual productions, Performance Groups may be invited to participate in multiple performances throughout the community as well. What to Expect for the First Day of Dance Class
If you or your child are new to Identity Dance Company, or Dance in general, don’t worry, we will do our best to answer any questions and make sure that you feel comfortable in our classes.
When you first come in to the studio, check in with the Front Desk, and we can point you to the correct studio or answer any questions that you may have.
Our friendly and well trained staff are here to help your student fall in love with dance! We care about our students, not only their growth in dance but also developing their character.
What does a year of Dance look like?
Our Dance Year generally follows local school district calendars, including most major holidays, and even school closures (due to weather- Snow Days, etc.)
Fall Season Starts the week after school begins in September, and goes until Christmas Break. The first of our 2 annual productions will be our Christmas Show scheduled right as the break begins.
After our Christmas production, we take a break until the New year. Winter Term runs from January until Spring break. Spring Term is from April until June.  We close registration in April in order to finalize our End of Year production.  July and August are considered breaks from normal classes, however our older performance groups do summer intensives, and we offer FUN Summer camps for all ages!
Registration/Tuition
We generally start accepting registrations a couple of weeks before the start of each term. So that we can ensure an accurate headcount when finalizing choreography for our Christmas and End of Year Performances, we do close registration several weeks before these performances. If registration is currently closed, be sure to Contact Us.
Registration Fees will be due for each Dance Year starting in September. The Registration Fee is on a Per Family basis. If you are registering multiple dancers in your family, the registration fee will only be due once.
Registration will be $40 if any dancers are registering for a Performance Group. $25 if registering for only Recreational Classes.
Monthly Tuition is due for each month that classes are taken. Rates are figured based on yearly tuition split into monthly payments, so full tuition is still due in months that some classes may not be offered due to Holidays, Performances, or other schedule changes. All efforts will be made to make up for any classes that may be cancelled due to these circumstances, but may not always be possible. Full monthly tuition will still be due unless otherwise notified.
Monthly Tuition starts at $45/Month for most recreational classes, and goes up for Performance Groups and Higher Level classes.
