Bio
Colena, “Coco” graduated in 2020 from the University of Oregon, where she majored in Dance and General Social Science with a concentration in Applied Economics, Business, and Society. Completing her last term online due to COVID, she was in desperate need of getting back into the studio! Coco moved back to Eugene in July of 2020 to continue working at Identity. She was also a part of the competitive club dance team for two years at U of O. Coco is a National Title Winner from Next Level Dance’s Nationals. She started dancing at the age of three, and at age 5 started dancing competitively until she graduated high school in 2016. She has trained in various styles of dance; including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Contemporary.
Her past career highlights include dancing on Lifetime’s hit TV show, “Dance Moms”, performing for the Oakland Raiders game, Opening Act Dancer for The Radio City Rockettes, featured Lead Dancer at Half Time for the Golden State Warriors, Disneyland’s “Dance The Magic”, and performed twice, in the annual show of Oakland Ballet’s Nutcracker. Coco Bailey aspires to open her own studio one day. She loves teaching and inspiring children through her love of dance.
I am excited to teach at Identity because I love teaching children and allowing an outlet to give what I have learned in my years of dancing, to others. I teach at home in California and I am excited to find another dance family here, in Oregon.
