Classes are based on the Vaganova Syllabus, which is the Russian technique and training system. Ballet is the foundation for all dance styles and is recommended for any dancer, especially those wanting to thrive in highly balletic technique influenced styles (Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, and Modern). We follow strict lesson plans based on the level.

In this class, barre work will be more difficult with testing your balance by letting go of the barre as well as faster paced. As you advance from Ballet 2/3, dancers will be able to go on pointe in this class after discussing it with the instructor. Ankles should be stronger and ready for pointe at this level! Center work will also be strongly enforced.Â
*If dancers at this level don’t want to go on pointe, they don’t have to! We will not be forcing anyone to go on pointe if they are not comfortable with it.
