Bio

Hi! My name is Mercedes, but everyone calls me Saedi! I’ve been dancing at Identity for over ten years. I started in kindergarten with lyrical and ballet, and now, as I’m heading into my sophomore year, I’ve also trained in hip-hop, tap, jazz, Legacy, and contemporary!

When I’m not dancing, you can usually find me hanging out with my friends or painting in my room. My favorite drink is Dr Pepper, specifically the strawberry one, and my slightly unusual favorite candy is circus peanuts!

I’m so excited to teach at Identity because I don’t just love your kids—I truly love this studio! I still remember how dance made me feel when I was little, and I hope to give other kids that same feeling. I can’t wait to be part of the Identity team and make a positive impact on your kiddos!
