Bio

Hi!! My name is Ellie Westling and I’m from Springfield, Oregon. I began my dance journey in 2021 at Next Step Dance Studio, training in Jazz, Acro & Tumbling, Ballet Technique, and Lyrical. I also take classes Jazz & Lyrical at Identity, and was recently the StepMother in Into the Woods.

But honestly, I’ve been dancing around the house for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had a deep love for music and movement! Jazz is definitely my favorite style, but I’m always excited to try something new and explore other genres. Outside of dance, I love playing pickleball and volleyball, riding my bike, cooking new recipes, checking out local coffee shops, and spending time with my friends.

A few fun facts about me: I’ve lived in 13 different houses, I love doing my nails, and I’ve never broken a bone! I’m obsessed with dark chocolate, and love Nerd Rainbow Ropes.

I’m so excited to teach at Identity because dance has always been my way of pouring my heart into something I love and I can’t wait to see all of you do the same. I’m thrilled to be part of your journey and to share in your passion for this incredible art form!
