Ignite

We’ve all been given gifts, unique special talents that no one else possesses. Though we’ve been freely given them, they bring with it responsibility, to keep them fresh, as the verse says, “re-kindle” them as often as possible. The reason why we chose this name for the group is to inspire you to not only ignite your own passion for dance, but also ignite and inspire others. At this stage in your dance “career”, you will have younger dancers start to look up to you. As role models for them, the more you display a passion for dance and good moral character, the more that fire will ignite and empower others.  Also at this age, you will “begin to be excited/passionate” about dance in a way that you’ve never been; whereas before dance might have been just a fun outlet or something to do with friends, you can really start to see yourself as a dancer and the growth that comes when you are willing to put in the time and effort. Our goal is to help unlock that passion, that sense of purpose in your dance!

Ignite is our Performance group for 8-12 year old’s with a higher level of dance experience. Ignite will be challenged in their classes as they prepare to advance to our Iconik Group. Classes will meet twice a week. One class will focus on Hip Hop, and the other will focus on Contemporary/Lyrical styles. Members of this Performance Group are encouraged to take additional Recreational classes to keep the flame Ignited!
